Frontend prototype — all data, payments and sync are simulated in your browser.

Point of sale for every counter

One POS.
Every kind of business.

A tea stall sees a big-button till. A restaurant chain sees floor plans, kitchen tickets and four branches in one report. A clinic sees a reception queue. Same platform — shaped by your industry, your plan and each person’s role.

How it adapts

Four questions decide what each person sees.

Nobody gets a cluttered “everything” screen. FormaPOS resolves every workspace from a few explicit rules — in the same order every time, so the result is predictable.

  1. 1

What kind of business is it?

The industry preset sets terminology (“Menu items”, “Patients”, “SKUs”), the POS layout and the dashboard. Recommended modules are suggestions only.

    Restaurant → Tables, Kitchen tickets

  2. 2

    What does the plan include?

Starter, Growth, Business or Enterprise — plus any add-ons. A Starter tea stall never sees hospital billing or warehouse transfers.

    Growth → Inventory, Staff, Purchasing

  3. 3

    What has the platform assigned?

Our team can grant or remove a module for one client without changing their plan. Dependencies are resolved, never silently broken.

    Grant Warehouses to Metro Wholesale

  4. 4

    What may this person do?

Roles and branch assignments decide actions. A cashier sells and closes their shift — but can’t change prices, modules or the subscription.

    Cashier → Register only

Capabilities

Fast at the till. Thorough in the back office.

A checkout built for the queue

Large targets for touch, shortcuts for keyboards (F2 search, F4 pay, F9 exact cash), barcode entry, held carts, split tender and change calculated for you. Totals are always visible; nothing is hidden behind a menu.

Money maths
Integer paisa, exact splits

Inventory that explains itself

Every unit in or out is a movement: sales, recipes, purchase receipts, transfers, counts and wastage. Low stock is flagged per branch.

Branches without spreadsheets

Per-branch stock, prices, taxes and staff. Consolidated reports add up the right branches — not the same numbers relabelled.

Modules you switch on

Tables, KDS, batches and expiry, appointments, repair jobs, quotations, loyalty, credit accounts — each one only when it fits.

Receipts your way

58 mm, 80 mm or A4 invoices with your header, tax IDs and footer — printed straight from the browser.

People and permissions

Owner, manager, cashier, waiter, kitchen, inventory, reception and accounting roles, each with a sensible default.

Honest by design

Card and wallet payments are clearly simulated in this demo. Nothing pretends to be a real charge or a real sync.

Real screens

Not mockups. The demo you can open right now.

Every screen below was captured from this prototype running on its fictional demo data. Pick one, then open the same person from the login page.

FormaPOS quick-service register: photo tiles for doodh patti, samosa and paratha with a cart totalling Rs 260

Big tiles, exact-cash in one tap, and a shift that reconciles itself. Everything a single counter needs and nothing it doesn’t.

Open as Imran

Offline-first

The internet drops. The queue doesn’t.

Cash sales keep working with local receipt numbers. Every sale waits in a durable queue with an idempotency key, then syncs exactly once when the connection returns. If stock changed elsewhere, you see the conflict — it is never overwritten quietly.
